This summer I read author Donna Laframboise’ book Thank You Truckers! Donna travelled to the Freedom Convoy protests the second week of the protest, beginning on the afternoon of February 7th. It happened that earlier that day Ontario Provincial Court judge McLean had ruled that the honking of horns at the protest had to stop. Donna, having watched some of the reports from her Lake Erie area home, expected horns to be honking when she arrived. But is was quiet on the streets.
